Ponix Coalition Food Security Grant - 2024
We are excited to share that Kendall Rae Johnson, the youngest certified hydroponic farmer, has been awarded a significant grant from PONIX - Coalition For Food Security. This award will support aGROWKulture's mission to connect food to the community and empower small businesses through innovative hydroponic farming practices.
Grant Installation and Partnership Details
The installation of the hydroponic systems is scheduled for December 19th, 2024, marking a new milestone in sustainable agriculture. This project is in partnership with Hearts to Nourish Hope, an organization dedicated to community support through their in-house Food Bank and Pantry, Moms Support Group, HVAC-R program, and more.
Empowering Youth Through Agribusiness and Smart Agriculture
Kendall Rae Johnson will utilize this grant to teach youth about agribusiness and smart agriculture, focusing on:
