This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how aGROWKulture Urban Farm ("we," "us," or "our") handles shipping, delivery, and pickup of products purchased through our website or in person.
By placing an order with aGROWKulture Urban Farm, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Products Eligible for Shipping
Due to the perishable nature of many farm products, not all items are eligible for shipping.
Eligible for Shipping:
Shelf-stable products (e.g., honey, dried herbs, packaged goods)
Select produce when weather and freshness allow
Merchandise or branded items
Not Eligible for Shipping:
CSA shares
Fresh eggs
Live plants or seedlings
Highly perishable produce (unless otherwise stated)
Availability for shipping will be clearly noted on each product page.
2. Local Pickup (Preferred Option)
Local pickup is the primary fulfillment method for:
CSA shares
Fresh produce
Eggs
Plants
Pickup details (date, time, and location) will be provided at checkout or via confirmation email. Customers are responsible for picking up orders during the designated window.
Unclaimed orders may be donated or composted and are not eligible for refunds.
3. Local Delivery (When Offered)
Limited local delivery may be available within designated service areas. Delivery fees, schedules, and eligibility will be listed at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.
4. Shipping Methods & Carriers
When shipping is available, orders are fulfilled using trusted third-party carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx). Shipping methods and estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout.
Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
5. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on:
Product type and weight
Packaging requirements
Destination address
All shipping costs are displayed at checkout prior to payment.
6. Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days. Processing times may be longer during peak seasons, holidays, or high-volume sales periods.
Customers will receive a confirmation email once the order has been shipped or prepared for pickup.
7. Perishable Item Disclaimer
For any perishable items approved for shipping:
Orders are packed to maintain freshness
Shipping dates may be limited to early-week dispatch
We are not responsible for spoilage due to shipping delays once the package is in the carrier’s possession
8. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. aGROWKulture Urban Farm is not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.
9. Damaged or Missing Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and order details. We will review claims on a case-by-case basis and may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
10. Refunds Related to Shipping
Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been shipped. Refunds or credits for products are subject to our Terms & Conditions.
11. Weather & Force Majeure
We are not responsible for shipping or delivery delays caused by weather events, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
