This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, credits, and cancellations are handled for purchases made through the aGROWKulture Urban Farm website or in person. By placing an order or registering for a program, you agree to the terms below.
1. General Refund Policy
Due to the nature of agricultural products and farm-based services, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated. Refunds or credits may be offered at our discretion and in accordance with the guidelines below.
2. Produce, Eggs, Honey & Farm Products
Fresh Produce & Eggs
All sales are final due to perishability.
No refunds are offered for taste preferences, missed pickups, or unused items.
If an item is damaged or missing, customers must notify us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery with photos and order details.
Approved issues may result in a replacement or store credit, not a cash refund.
Honey & Shelf-Stable Goods
Honey and other shelf-stable items are final sale.
Refunds or replacements may be considered for damaged items reported within 48 hours of delivery.
3. CSA Memberships
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares are:
Purchased in advance
Non-refundable and non-transferable
By joining our CSA, members acknowledge the inherent risks of farming, including weather variability, pest pressure, and crop loss. aGROWKulture Urban Farm commits to providing a fair and diverse share but does not guarantee specific quantities of individual crops.
CSA members who are unable to pick up their share are responsible for arranging an alternate pickup. Missed shares are not eligible for refunds or credits.
4. Workshops, Classes & Educational Programs
Cancellations by Participant
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event may receive a full refund or credit.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable.
No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Cancellations by aGROWKulture Urban Farm
If we must cancel or reschedule an event due to weather, low enrollment, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered:
A full refund, or
A credit toward a future event
5. Farm Tours & On-Farm Events
Farm tours and special events follow the same refund guidelines as workshops unless otherwise stated on the event registration page.
6. Live Plants & Seedlings
All live plant sales are final. We are not responsible for plant performance after purchase, as growing conditions vary. Customers are encouraged to inspect plants at pickup.
7. Shipping-Related Refunds
Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Refunds for shipped items are subject to our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
8. Holiday & Seasonal Sales
Holiday markets (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and other seasonal events) are final sale due to limited availability and high demand. No refunds are offered after purchase.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for refunds due to circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, power outages, or public health emergencies.
10. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
