Atlanta, GA — May 2026 — AgrowKulture Urban Farm proudly announces a major milestone in its growing impact on youth agriculture and sustainable food systems: Kendall Rae Johnson, AgrowKulture Urban Farm, and the Kool Kids Grow Garden at Deerwood Elementary School have officially earned Certified Naturally Grown certification.

This designation recognizes farms and growers who follow rigorous natural growing standards, including the absence of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, and a strong commitment to ecological stewardship, soil health, and biodiversity.

Founded and led by young farmer and changemaker Kendall Rae Johnson, AgrowKulture Urban Farm continues to serve as a national model for youth-led agriculture, education, and community food access. The certification further validates the farm’s mission to grow food in alignment with nature while empowering the next generation of agricultural leaders.

The Kool Kids Grow Garden at Deerwood Elementary School—an extension of AgrowKulture’s educational programming—has also been certified, highlighting its role as a living classroom where students learn hands-on sustainable farming practices, including composting, planting seasonal crops, and supporting pollinator habitats.
