4-H Community Garden Club at
aGROWKulture Farm
4-H at aGROWKulture Urban Farm is a hands-on youth development program that introduces students to agriculture, sustainability, and entrepreneurship through real-world farm experiences. Hosted at a working urban farm, participants learn where food comes from while building leadership, confidence, and practical life skills rooted in the 4-H pledge of Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.
Youth engage in interactive activities such as planting, harvesting, composting, soil health, hydroponics, and pollinator education, while also exploring food systems, environmental stewardship, and agribusiness basics. The program emphasizes STEAM learning, teamwork, and problem-solving, empowering young people to become responsible community leaders and future innovators in agriculture.
In partnership with UGA Cooperative Extension and 4-H, aGROWKulture Urban Farm provides a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where youth connect with nature, develop workforce-ready skills, and gain exposure to careers in agriculture, sustainability, and food systems.
4-H at aGROWKulture Urban Farm is growing the next generation of leaders—one seed at a time.
