What is 4-H?

 

4-H is a youth development program that seeks to build leadership skills, public speaking skills, citizenship, and community service. 4-H is exploring, discovering, encouraging, challenging, and of course having fun! 4-H is a branch of the University of Georgia and UGA Extension Fulton County.

What does 4-H offer for youth in Fulton County?

 

Fulton County 4-H partners with schools, communities, and families to offer:

  • Standards based educational programming for elementary, middle, and high school students

  • Youth activities to promote leadership, citizenship, service-learning, and communication

  • Summer day and residential camps

  • Community and special-interest clubs

  • Youth competitions and contests

  • Career exploration

  • Public speaking
